In The Media

Flagworld.com
Launched with the internet was just getting hot in 1995, Flagworld.com quickly became the place for Canadians to get their racing news and photos.

Thanks to the foresight of Michel and Dany Flageole, getting in on the ground floor of the internet allowed them to purchase domain names, design and host websites for many famous race car drivers such as Jacques Villeneuve, Gilles Villeneuve (museum), Patrick Carpentier and many more, which served to firmly establish their presence on the world-wide-web.

Based in Laval, Quebec, Flagworld also has a considerable following from Europe due to its bilingual (French & English) content.

PaddockTalk.com
Launched in January 2004, PaddockTalk managed to publish over 3,500 articles in its first year, quadruple that number in 2005 with over 14,000 features and then more than doubled that in 2006. In January 2006 we recognized the need to expand and enhance our galleries at which time we launched PTalkPhoto.com to provide our audience with a wider scope of motorsport photography, where we are proud to boast 100% original photographic content (15,000 images and growing).  In 2005, over 1 million motorsport fans from over 160 countries visited PaddockTalk.com creating nearly 30 million hits (these numbers do not include PTalkPhoto.com or our forums). In 2006, PaddockTalk hosted just shy of 3 million unique visitors from 180 nations around the world. In 2007, those numbers doubled to almost 15,000 unique visitors per day with that number continuing to climb each month.

In 2008 PaddockTalk averaged between 700,000 and 1 million visitors per month while creating more than 4 million page views every month. Every country/territory in the world (over 210) records visits to the site each month. After so many years of doubling, the year 2008 saw us consolidate our position while still increasing by 10 – 15% overall. For 2009 our plans are in place to return to doubling our growth – each year, over the next few years.

PaddockTalk LLC also manages/owns 10 additional racing-oriented sites, plus additional interests. Key news partners include: Google News, MSN News, News Now, Topix.net and other major Internet news aggregation services.  PaddockTalk also partners with Voxant whose service allows other websites to embed our stories, images, and video content.
