Electric Vehicles: Dissecting The Lies, Myths & Actual Truth About EV Costs (Part 2) – Road Test Special

In Part 1 we went into many of the Lies, Myths And Actual Truth’s about EV’s and their batteries – most of it was just Misinformation – deliberate or otherwise. The article got so long, we had to break it up into two separate articles. Electric Vehicles: Dissecting The Lies, Myths And Actual Truth’s About Them (Part 1) – Road Test Special

The people most vocal against EV’s are the ones that have never driven one – and they have no intention of ever driving one. They are the ones yelling all over social media – spreading lies, myths and misinformation for something they have absolutely no experience with. Unfortunately they are the ones that everyone parrots as fact whenever they, in-turn bash EV’s. Hopefully I can help you wade through the muck and get to the actual truth. Are they perfect? No vehicle is perfect. But they are damn good!

If You Are Considering An EV – You Need To Stop Having Range Anxiety, Here’s Why

According to a recent study, 97% of short-range EV drivers do all of their charging at home (or work – where available). So why is there such a huge push among non-EV drivers for a larger public network? Think about this: How often do you actually use a gas station? Once a week, maybe twice if you drive more often. The odds are pretty good that you consistently use just a few stations that are close to home or work – that’s it. So you’re not really using the entire network of gas stations – why would you feel you need a huge choice to plug in an EV?

When Do You Think You’ll Be Buying Or Leasing An Electric Vehicle?

It’s not a matter of you MIGHT get one – you WILL be getting one! At some point in the very near-future the EV will be cheaper to purchase/lease than a regular ICE (Internal Combustible Engine) vehicle WITHOUT government incentives. If you want to put off the inevitable as long as possible, it’ll probably be around 2024-2025 – that’s only 6 years from now! Take the time to watch this brief video and you’ll understand that it’s a lot closer than you think before we’re all driving electric.
