Road Test Special: Mini-Test 2021 Ford Bronco Sport + Mustang Mach-E

We’ve had an interesting week… first we got to spend some behind the wheel of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y,  and then 2 days later we had the opportunity to take the Ford Mustang Mach-E – Ford’s first-ever 100% electric vehicle, and the All-New Bronco Sport Big Bend out for a spin. With COVID continuing to put a stranglehold on my usual manufacturer-supplied test vehicles, I really appreciate Grimsby Ford providing me the opportunity for this all too brief, but very enjoyable test-drive. While we only got a quick spin around the block, these are two very impressive vehicles. Stay tuned for a full-blown road test in the future.)

Ford’s “Mustang-Inspired” Electric Crossover – What We Know So Far

Ford are notorious for keeping new vehicles a secret until they actually launch. It wasn’t long ago that the Ford GT appeared out of nowhere and the media went cock-a-hoop over it – along with the public and those with half a million dollars yelling “Take my money!!” Two of the biggest secrets of late have been the “Mustang-Inspired” Electric Crossover and the All-New Bronco (and a reportedly Baby Bronco).

Ford Confirms Plans To Kill All Sedans In North America

APRIL 25, 2018  ~ The announcement was made with little fanfare as it was tucked away in the company’s first-quarter financial results. Buried underneath various statistics is a rather blunt statement that the company will “not invest in next generations of traditional Ford sedans for North America.” Models (already long-in-the-tooth) such as the Fusion, Fiesta and Taurus will be phased out over the next few years. The company will keep the Mustang and confirmed plans to launch the all-new Focus Active in North America next year.
