Tesla Demonstration Drive – The Model 3 and Model Y

For a number of years I’ve been trying to get a Tesla for a test drive, but their media people have been AWOL – even when I had their actual email address, I was ignored. So how did we get this test drive? Patience really. I signed up on their website for a Tesla Test Drive Event – where they actually come to you – or close to you, and let you get behind the wheel of the vehicle of your choice for 30 minutes or so. Since I’m an Auto Journalist, I took the opportunity and asked to drive both the 3 and the Y so I could write an article, and they were happy to oblige!

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Electric CUV – Launch

Hyundai’s all-new electric mid-size crossover – the Ioniq 5, has been revealed to the public and it comes in three models and a long list of features. It’s the first model to be branded under the ‘Ioniq’ electric sub-brand. The Ioniq 5 rides on the dedicated Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which blends the traditional skateboard design with an elongated wheelbase. At a fairly long 4.65m (182.4 inches) overall and a 3m wheelbase (over 118 inches), it’s even longer than the Palisade!

Even lately, they’ve continued to be wishy-washy and couldn’t decide if they wanted to be a part of the EV revolution or not.

Road Test Special: Ford Changed The World When He Gave Us The Model T – Tesla’s Going To Change It Back Again

Ford brought the Model T to the masses – Tesla plans to do the same…with the Model 3 Tesla. What’s the first thing you think of when you read or hear that word? For me, it was a very expensive electric car that the Hollywood gang loved to be seen-in – so they could tell us how to live our life and save the environment from their ivory tower. For that reason alone, I completely ignored the car and everything about it. But I was wrong – so very wrong. What changed my mind?
