Road-Test Special: 2013 Lincoln MKS & MKT

New technologies on the 2013 Lincoln MKS and MKT deliver better handling, more power, and improved fuel economy along with more refinement and new technologies that help drivers reduce accident risks as well as providing an even more engaging driving experience – important new reasons to consider Lincoln’s newest vehicles. Ford invited me to test drive these two new vehicles and I have to be honest and say they were extremely impressive. I’ve never been a big fan of Luxo-barge type vehicles – they are just too soft and mushy on the road unless you want to be asleep behind the wheel. The 2013 Lincoln MKS and MKT are unlike anything you’ll ever have driven in the past from Ford’s luxury division.

2010 Lexus RX 450h (Hybrid) – Road Test

It’s been a couple of years since I last drove the Lexus RX hybrid. It was so outstanding my wife and I wanted to trade our first-born for one.. too bad we only had a chinchilla to trade. For the 2010 model, Lexus have re-designed the RX from the ground up… sounds like the perfect reason to grab the keys and see if it can measure up to the previous model.

2008 BMW 335 xi (All Wheel Drive) – Road Test

Irregular heartbeat. Eyes as wide as saucers. And sweaty palms. That was the first five minutes behind the wheel of the BMW 335xi. To many the 3 series BMW is the epitome of what a car should be. With a new 300 horsepower twin-turbo engine under the hood the stakes have been raised even higher. Add a slick 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel-drive to the mix and it can’t possibly get better than this – can it? Uh, well, ummm, to be honest there is one that is better. Trade the manual for BMW’s awesome automatic and you’ll have perfection. More on that later.
