~ CHEVROLET
Making its Canadian debut at CIAS, the all-new Silverado sets the course for the next century of Chevy Trucks with the most functional bed of any full-size truck. With a weight reduction of up to 450 pounds, it offers increased performance, along with a broad range of trims and engine/transmission combinations – including an all-new Duramax 3.0L inline-six diesel, to help each customer find their ideal truck.
> Corvette ZR1
Making its Canadian debut at CIAS, the Corvette ZR1 is a supercar that pushes Corvette’s performance legacy with the highest power, greatest track performance and most advanced technology in its production history. The Corvette ZR1’s exclusive LT5 supercharged engine – rated at an SAE-certified 755 horsepower (563 kW) and 715 lb-ft of torque (969 Nm), delivers a 0-60 time in under 3 seconds and a top speed of over 337 kilometers per hour, establishing a new benchmark in performance.
> Electric Avenue
Chevrolet is the #1 retailer of affordable, long-range, plug-in electric vehicles in Canada with more than 6400 units sold, with the launch of the award-winning Bolt EV and the customer-favourite Volt. In 2017, Chevrolet sold twice as many EVs than its closest competitor. Consumers visiting CIAS will have the opportunity to test drive both vehicles through our partners at Plug ‘n Drive.
~ BUICK
Avenir – The Future of Luxury
The new Avenir sub-brand represents the highest expression of Buick luxury, inspired by Buick’s popular concept vehicles. It is distinguished by exclusive styling cues and premium materials where they matter most. New and versatile functionality, interior spaciousness, and intuitive technologies build on Buick’s philosophy of attainable luxury. Avenir sets the tone for a more progressive, more relevant Buick brand and will be on display at the Canadian International Auto Show alongside the new Enclave and LaCrosse.
~ GMC
The mighty GMC Sierra All Mountain Concept – a truck built for Whistler Blackcomb, returns to the Canadian International Auto Show. The Sierra All Mountain concept takes GMC’s signature bold design and engineering excellence to new heights, adding tank-like tracks that help it navigate rugged, snow-covered terrain. Built on a GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali 4WD Crew Cab platform, the All Mountain concept stands ready to tackle steep slopes and extreme weather conditions. It combines the power of a 6.6L turbo-diesel V-8 engine, first-class interior appointments of the Sierra 2500HD Denali, then adds enhanced capability and features through concept Mattracks® technology and GMC Accessories.
~ CADILLAC
The No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R will be making its Canadian auto show debut. The Cadillac DPi-V.R is propelled by a race-prepared, normally aspirated Cadillac 6.2L V-8 engine that shares inherent architecture with the engines from the third-generation Cadillac CTS-V (640 horsepower) and fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade (420 horsepower). The engine produces approximately 600 horsepower when tuned for racing as defined by IMSA-mandated air restrictors, with a maximum allowable RPM of 7,600.
