Ford Announces The Return Of The Ranger To North America

All-New 2019 Ford Ranger for North America, Road-Test.org

Set to debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) this week, the mid-size Ranger will go head-to-head with the Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon and Toyota Tacoma that currently dominate the segment.

The All-New 2019 Ranger will be powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, connected to a class-exclusive 10-speed automatic transmission, and will only be available in SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations.

The Ranger will be available in three trim levels – XL, XLT, and Lariat and two optional appearance packages – Chrome & Sport. Four-wheel-drive will also be available.

The Ford Ranger will go on sale in the United States and Canada early next year.
